Written Monday.....

Another lovely day today so I can sit out in the garden and work on the computer. Yesterday was just top class. Julian, Daniel and I went over to Hertford Town Church both morning and evening. Two great speakers, and more time to get to know Charles and Tanya better and their wonderful children, Lydia, Elsie, Harry and Joel. And thanks for the chat, Penny.You're unique; and a shining example of a truly keen Christian. How interesting to see the upstairs to the church and the children's Sunday School work on the walls. What potential there is here in this loving and welcoming church.

Stephen left early this morning to journey to the North Sea to work on an oil rig. I hope he remembers all the training he received in Norfolk last week, escaping from helicopters, swimming under water and extinguishing fires!

And my beautiful leather NASB study bible arrived today. More reading to look forward to.
